How it all started
“Teach my people Kingdom.”
These were Jesus’ words to me after I handed over Breakthrough Business, the company I had faithfully run for nearly 20 years, to Kaustubh. His response intrigued me. It was a turning point that led me to discover something profound about His heart and His mission.
As I sought clarity, I realized something remarkable: Jesus’ first public announcement was about the Kingdom (Matthew 4:17). Throughout His ministry, He spoke of the Kingdom over 80 times and shared at least 19 parables centered on it. Yet, when I gave my life to Christ, no one explained the Kingdom to me. My seminary education didn’t include a single course on it. Even more startling, I had never preached a sermon on the Kingdom.
Despite this gap, I had unknowingly experienced the Kingdom’s reality as a chaplain at the Olympics and World Championships. There, I lived out what I now call the life side of the Kingdom. During my time leading Breakthrough Business, the Kingdom disciplines of Corporate fasting, Corporate Spiritual Activation and Corporate prayer walk became part of how we operated.
These practices brought tangible business results and shaped the company’s culture and success.
In my exploration, I discovered what I now call Kingdom Power Tools—power principles and practices that evolved naturally over two decades at Breakthrough. These tools didn’t just improve operations; they transformed how we conducted business, aligning it with God’s leading and purposes.
This journey culminated in the birth of Kingdom Business Schools, where these lessons have been captured and developed into a powerful framework. The message is clear:
“The Kingdom is not about talk but about power”
(1 Corinthians 4:20)
At the core of this school is a call to embrace a Kingdom mindset—a shift in perspective that transforms how we see and do business. Business is not just about making money; it is about fulfilling and aligning with God’s assignment to advance His Kingdom.
This revelation has changed everything for me. Now, it’s not just about running a business or teaching leadership—it’s about equipping others to live, lead, and operate with Kingdom purpose.
